Strategic Ground-Floor Transformation: Master Suite & Laundry Relocation

This extensive ground-floor renovation comprehensively reimagined the core utility spaces of a home, transforming their function and significantly enhancing overall livability. Initiated after a homeowner-discovered water leak and subsequent remediation, our team took the reins to execute a strategic swap of the master bathroom and laundry room locations. This ambitious undertaking began with the complex task of cutting and removing the concrete slab to lay an entirely new ABS underground plumbing network, a crucial foundation for the redesigned layout. Further challenging utility work included the relocation of the home's water heater, demanding significant new main line plumbing. To create the desired en-suite master bathroom, an ingenious solution involved reconfiguring the master bedroom's existing closet, shortening and deepening it to allow for a new, direct doorway into the transformed bathroom, while the original hallway entry to the former laundry room was in-filled. The result is a luxurious master bathroom oasis featuring a walk-in tiled shower with elegant white and grey veined tiles, a striking black hexagonal mosaic floor, and black Schluter trim, seamlessly integrated with new modern fixtures, paint, and LVP flooring. Simultaneously, the former bathroom was revitalized into an efficient, relocated laundry room, complete with new appliances, shelving, fresh paint, and cohesive engineered hardwood flooring. This project exemplifies our expertise in complex structural modifications and utility re-routing, delivering a highly functional, aesthetically cohesive, and significantly enhanced living space.
